gloucester, england

yes, it's been awhile since i've posted anything new on the blog...our computer has been out of commission since we got here (it couldn't take the sudden surge in electricity) so i haven't been able to put up new pictures. that will hopefully change next week. so here we are in sunny england drinking lots of tea and slowly adjusting to the idea that we actually live here. it's been great to stay with our friends dave and paula and their two kids megan (8) and ethan (2). we live in the attic of their 7-bedroom mansion in the country. the trip over was uneventful and jonas slept through it all. he then proceeded to not sleep much for a few nights but now he's sleeping better than ever (we finally gave the "crying it out" thing a try and after 30 min. of crying/complaining/babbling he now sleeps through the night and falls asleep on his own for naps). dave went in to work yesterday to meet everyone he'll be working with. 3 brits retired and they hired 1 canadian to take over so what does that say about british productivity? he's looking forward to starting work june 19. paula and i have been busy exploring the countryside with our boys (and the occasional trip to the ONE starbucks in gloucester). i'll give you another update and some pictures next week. cheers!
